Holly Morgan has established her namesake fashion house, Holly Morgan Designs, as one of the bright new shining stars of American fashion. Her collections exude an easy elegance and timeless take on feminine dressing. She infuses her designs with a dose of pop culture and a dash of her own personal style. She has seen all sides of the fashion business as a designer, merchandiser, entrepreneur, as well as a brick and mortar store owner. This experience offers a unique perspective for her line, which resonates across a broad market. Notably, she proudly produces and manufactures her clothes solely in Los Angeles.
As the President, Creative Director and Designer, Morgan's goal is to create pieces that will not fall prey to erratic trends or fads. Her clothes primarily consist of separates and dresses, but now also include tailored pants and vests. She incorporates delicate details such as imported cameo buttons, perfectly-placed ruffles and beading that make her pieces special and distinct. She also has a penchant for luscious silks and high-quality fabrics that help to create a flattering feminine form.
California-based Morgan began her career in fashion by attending the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. Upon graduation, she launched her career at Rampage where she made a strong impression with her talent and her ability to forecast trends; thus she was quickly promoted to become head designer. She was lured over to design at Contempo Casuals during its peak of success. Morgan moved on to become co-owner of private label line XOXO where she was responsible for merchandising, design and branding for 10 years. Wanting to take a break from the manic schedule of a successful junior's line, she opened and was the buyer for Chantal, a high-end women's store in Manhattan Beach, CA. However, she was unable to stay away from the fast and furious pace of design, and found herself back at Rampage as President of Design and Merchandising. Ultimately, her love of fashion and passion for making beautiful clothes has led her to start her own line, Holly Morgan Designs.
