William began sketching clothing designs when he was only twelve years old in Caracas, Venezuela. He used to take his sketches to the family seamstress, who would sew his ideas. His school friends, seeing his new trendy clothes began to trade tennis shoes and other things to “buy” his designer wear. Although fashion design was his first love, after high school, William began studying Business Administration at Caracas College.
After attending fashion school and with his business background, he opened his own manufacturing and design firm in his home country. Just one year later his line was sold at many major stores and boutiques nationwide.
Since then, William’s designs have become international and his experience in the fashion industry extends far beyond concepts and sketches. He organizes and oversees fashions shows, directs photo shoots, consults with graphic designers and art directors for layouts, and meets with suppliers and manufacturers directly when purchasing fabrics and products for accessories.
The Lucy Dress ($57) gives the "little black dress" a different meaning with modesty and grace. I own several dresses, but this one has become one of my top favorites! I'm always apprehensive about ordering clothes online, but I was pleased with my selection since it fits perfectly and it is comfortable without the frumpiness. It is made with ultra soft jersey material, which adds additional comfort. This dress features a sophisticatedly beautiful pleated collar, but what really sets this dress on fire are the buttons on the sleeves and below the collar. You can barely see the buttons by looking on the picture above, but you can get a closer look by zooming in on the picture here. The cami doesn't come with the dress, but I highly buying one from Perfect Cami or Second Base - my personal favorites! You can fade into the shadows, stand out in the spotlight or blend in with the crowd with this dress.
I also received the Big and Bold Turquoise Necklace ($29.40), which is strikingly stunning! It is even more eye catching in person than it is the picture. The necklace is cheap in price, but it definitely isn't cheap in quality. The brightly colored turquoise packs a powerful punch. It certainly isn't for a wallflower. It is well-suited for the confident, sophisticated woman who wants to get noticed.
