Academy J Handcrafted Headband Review

Sarah, Jessica and Aimee are the ladies behind Academy J . Their head turning headbands and hair clips are made with the finest materials with careful love and attention. Each headband is slightly different due to it being handmade. They are continuously coming up with fresh designs. They even take custom orders for weddings, bridesmaids or anything to suit your personal style.

Academy J sent me one of their embellished headbands that I chose for my review - the "Audrey" Headband ($17). This headband perfectly matches one of the dresses I will be wearing when I go on vacation. It so happens that it also named after one of my favorite classic film stars, Audrey Hepburn. This headband features beaded gold swirls, and it is secured with a thin black plastic. I've always admired the headbands that could be worn across the forehead, and this is actually the first time I have ever worn one. I never thought I could easily pull this style off, but I really like how it looks on me.

Mischa Barton is known for her endless supply of forehead headbands (she even created a headband line for Stacey Lapidus), and the one that I received looks somewhat similar to one that she has worn before. So you can sport the same style at the fracture of the price. :)

Ariel Clip $7

Lucille $16

Roxanne $17

Eve $16
