7 FOR ALL MANKIND LAUNCHES FIRST COLLABORATION WITH PHOTOGRAPHER MIKA NINAGAWA: 7 For All Mankind launches mid-August its first collaboration incorporating the works of photographer Mika Ninagawa into its designs. Ninagawa is one of Japan’s most talked about and popular photographers. From capturing the true essence of her human subjects to highlighting the vibrant color in her still life photos of flowers, goldfish and landscapes, Ninagawa’s style is easy to appreciate but impossible to replicate. Her works have been featured in fashion publications such as Vogue Nippon and Elle Japan. Seven styles fuse together 7 For All Mankind’s premiere denim and sportswear with her iconic flower photographs. The women’s line features two t-shirts, one with a beautiful blue rose print and the other with a brightly colored lily print. The graphics have been sublimated onto the fabric, covering the entire shirt while leaving small folds of fabric untouched for a multi-dimensional look. 7 For All Mankind’s signature Gummy Gwenevere in Grey acts as the canvas for a subtle black floral screen print. The Boyfriend Shorty Short in Light Destroyed Adara Blue gets a burst of color with floral printed pocket linings that peek out just below the hemline. The men’s line features one t-shirt with an x-ray black and grey orchid print and another tee with one of Mika’s colorful vine prints. Her iconic vine print has also been screen printed in black onto The Rhigby, 7 For All Mankind’s skinniest fit for men. Product prices range from $89 to $198.
